History

The new church building foundation was laid on the 28th September, 1968, by Ven. J. F. Akinrele. The new church building was dedicated on the 1st November, 1974 by Ven. B. A. Adelaja, M. A. The church was parished on the 19th march, 1987. The foundation of the new vicarage of the church was laid by Ven. E. Ope-Oluwa Dosumu, a native of Isonyin on the 1st August, 1987. The new vicarage ground-floor was dedicated for use by Ven. E. O. J. Sokale, B.A, P.G.D.E. on the 5th September, 1991 (with the permission of the Rt. Rev. A. S. O. Olowoyo).
